Random Things fom AMH Tour

I must admit when on the Austin Modern Home Tour there were tons of cool things to take pix of, BUT with a house full of people milling around it was not easy to get all the pix I wanted. Below are the random things I was able to capture.
I love skinny long tiles as in 1/2" to 1" wide.

While the grill is cool and all it's the color mix I love...stainless steel and blue-gray, fabulous!

Some of the houses had some super cool furniture pieces like the one above.

Awesome vintage vanity in bright green!

This thing was just huge and warranted a pic...we weren't sure if it would come alive and eat us.

Awesome Doors of AMH Tour

There were some fantastic doors on the tour. Enjoy~

Ok, the above house wasn't on the tour, but you have to admit that's a cool door.

Balcones Dr.
Yeah, slightly blurry but loved the color!
Highland Terrace
I don't think I need to describe the reason for the door above:-)

Hilwin Circle
Who said pocket doors had to be blah, super cool!

Austin Modern Home Tour

I love getting to cruise through modern homes that I would otherwise not get to cruise through. We saw some cool places on Saturday. Check it out.
Peach Tree St.
The above house had my favorite kitchen, which is pictured below. Architect James Harkrider of Studio D + Form.

The above 2 pix are from a house we looked at on Hilwin Circle designed by architect Travis Young. Some fabulous details that I couldn't capture, but really like his work.

The above house did a fantastic job of living indoor/outdoor. Living spaces completely opened to the outside. Amazing vegetable garden not pictured here. Architect, designer and homeowner Elizabeth Alford of Pollen Architecture and Design.
Elizabeth St.
I love the house on Elizabeth St. Built by Richard White of Abode Modern Homes. He doubles as the homeowner, lucky dog! Concept design by AlterStudio Architects. This house had the most fabulous master bathroom. The bad news for you dear reader is I only had my phone on me to take the pic...my lens has a scratch so it's blurry, but I think you'll get the idea of how fabulous it would be to have this bathroom.
